About the two-photon annihilation of pion

Description
Within the framework of the bilocal relativistic potential model the two-photon annihilation process of the neutral pion is studied. The matrix element and decay width are obtained. It is shown that the model taking into account the modified Schwinger-Dyson equation with potential as a sum of the oscillator and Coulomb terms allows to reproduce the experimental value of the decay width π0 → γγ at a good qualitative level. 11 refs., 1 tab
