Yttrium ion coordination with DNA
Description
Yttrium interaction with two samples of native DNA is studied by physico-chemical and spectral methods under two values of ionic strength: 0.01(0.005); 0.165 (NaClO4) and pH 4.90-6.00. Associate composition and its stability are determined. Effect of different quantity of Y3+ and Na3+ ions on DNA conformation is ascertained. Participation of ligand binding points in coordination is discussed
