Development of technologies for structural integrity monitoring of hazardous chemical substance producing plant and prevention of diffusion(Remote response)

Description

Recently, the importance of accident prevention and response technology related to accidents occurred in succession of hazardous chemicals has emerged. - Due to the accident of hydrofluoric acid spill that occurred in the Gumi was caused major damage to the environment as well as human life. There is a need to strengthen the system of first responders to effectively respond to hazardous chemical spills. - Development and enhancement of remote response technology for chemical material processing facilities is urgently needed to respond leakage accident of hazardous chemical substances as shown in the hydrogen fluoride leak accident . - The purpose of the sub-project is to develop and enhance the following technologies: · Information gathering by using remotely operated vehicles at dangerous chemical facilities · Remote access to hazardous area with unmanned driving vehicles · Remotely operated chemical material leak blocking and diffusion prevention.
