241Am gamma radiation with energy above 600 keV

Description
As a result of long-time measurements of the γ spectrum of 241Am by means of a Ge(Li) detector in the energy range exceeding 600 keV, the intensities of γ rays have been refined and new γ transition have been found. Seven new excited levels of 237Np have been introduced into the scheme of the α decay of 241Am. Determined are values of the gamma constant for 241Am: 1.25x10-2 (30-300 keV) and 5.4x10-6 (> 300 keV) Rxm2xCi-1xhr-1; and for 239Pu: 1.61x10-5 and 1.3x10-5 Rxm2xCi-1xhr-1
