Calculation for 1-MeV equivalent factor of neutrons with different spectrums
- 1. Northwest Inst. of Nuclear Technology, Xi'an (China)
Description
0.01-20 MeV neutrons were simulated by GEANT4 user program. To get kerma cross sections, the deposited displacement energy were calculated by Linhard function, which was included in user program. Forced collision technique was adopted in the simulation to improve efficiency and reduce error. Uniform Sample Method and Lagrange Interpolation Method are used to compute 1-MeV equivalent factor from displacement kerma cross sections. The results agree with NJOY and ASTM code. (author)
