Investigation of positron moderator efficiency by the time of flight technique using isotopic sources
Description
The paper describes a technique for investigation of efficiency of positron moderator mock-ups that are in development for the slow positron source on SPring-8 hard synchrotron radiation. The investigation is performed by the time of flight technique using isotopic sources. Results of the multiwire moderator's mock-up efficiency measurements are provided. The results from measurements are compared against the results of Monte-Carlo simulation of this mock-up's efficiency
