Mathematical modeling diffusion systems with delay applied to estimation of temperature distribution for heating materials under electron irradiation

Description
The paper presents the design and implementation of mathematical model of diffusion process with time delay applied to the simulation of temperature heating for materials exposed to electron irradiation at diagnostics with scanning electron microscope techniques. The computational scheme based on alternating direction method was proposed to solve a parabolic partial differential equation with delay. Program implementation of simulation algorithm was performed in Matlab application package. The results of computational experiments were also described in terms of the electron probe thermal impact on the irradiated solids taking into account delay effect. (paper)
