Surface effect on the bulk radioluminescence of alkali halide crystals
Description
To estimate the depth of charge carriers yield to the surface of solid effect of the dispersion degree on the bulk radioluminescence of alkali halide phosphoric crystals is studied. The obtained results permit to determine charge carrier yield depth that is of about 10 μm. The most probable mechanism of charge carriers migration to the surface providing significant depths is a drift to the surface in the field of bulk charge formed by radiation
