The accuracy of hot atom kinetic theory parameters
- 1. Yale Univ., New Haven, Conn. (USA). Dept. of Chemistry
Description
A computer model is used to simulate the basic model of the kinetic theory of hot atom reactions using a variety of energy loss distribution functions. It is found that the actual distribution of energy losses has little effect on the derived kinetic parameters, although in many cases derived individual product parameters are a poor reflection of their defined values.
