Description
The thermal variation in the a.c. magnetic susceptibility of U1-xThxSb and USb1-xTex compounds has been measured in low alternating field by a mutual inductance technique between 20 and 300 K, in the whole range of thorium and tellurium concentrations. From these measurements, the magnetic phase diagrams versus the concentrations x have been deduced and these results are generally in good agreement with those obtained from other techniques such as magnetization and neutron diffraction measurements in high magnetic fields. In contrast with the similar study on U1-xThxAs and UAs1-xSex solid solutions, no peaks in the thermal variation of the susceptibility were observed above the ordering temperature for any of the compounds studied in this work.
