Description
This work is concerning the development of a stress sensor based on the piezomagnetic principle. Experimental anhysteretic and hysteretic piezomagnetic measurements of a low carbon steel are reported. Interpretations are made thanks to a simple analytical modeling. The effect of magnetic field, stress mean value and amplitude, and frequency are discussed
