Hydromagnetic natural convection from a vertical plate
Description
The combined effects of buoyancy and magnetic forces on the free convection flow from a conducting vertical plate are analysed, the plate temperature being any function of time. A few particular cases are discussed in detail. The Laplace transform technique has been employed to get the solution of the problem. The effects of thermal Prandtl number and time on the velocity, induced magnetic field and temperature distributions have been represented graphically. (auth.)
