Seminar-workshop on nuclear power

The seminar-workshop aims to serve as a venue for gathering current and relevant information on nuclear power and the Philippine long-term energy plan and it is an effort to formulate recommendations on the future prospects of nuclear power in the country; in this seminar foreign and local experts were invited to share their knowledge and experience on energy planning and nuclear power-related issues, such as human resource development, global energy and technology trends, nuclear safety, radioactive waste management, and siting aspects and to exchange views on the possible role of nuclear power in the government's efforts to provide affordable energy services
