Environmental evaluation of radiation around the heavy ion research facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL)
Description
This paper described the measuring results on total α and β activities for various soil, plant and water samples in environment, neutron and γ radiation level, and the personal dose around the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL) after it went into operation. The preliminary evaluation has been given. Monitoring results show that operation of the facility is safe because no any environmental contamination has been found
