Description
We combine the use of Generator-Coordinate-Method-like wave function with the angular momentum projection techniques to generate many-body correlated wave functions that are at the same time eigenstates of the angular momentum operator. We apply this formalism to the calculation of reduced transition probabilities, B(E3), for two illustrative examples, namely, slightly-deformed and moderately well deformed nuclei. In the first case we obtain changes of 40% and in the second one of 30%. In our calculations we use the density dependent Gogny force. (orig.)
