On transition infrared radiation by relativistic electrons in a thin layer of matter
- 1. National Science Center, Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology, 310108 Kharkov (Ukraine)
Description
The transition radiation by relativistic electron passed across thin absorbing layer of matter was studied. It is shown, that limited transverse dimensions of target may lead to considerable distortion of infrared transition radiation. The transition radiation is also considered when a detector is located at small and large distances from the target compared with the coherent length of radiation process.
