Venus atmosphere in the southern polar region according to data of radiowave sounding

Description

Results of investigation into the venus atmosphere in six areas of southern polar region conducted by the method of radiowave sounding with the use of the ''Venera 15, 16'' satellites are presented. Plots and tables of dependences of temperature, pressure and density on height are given. Atmosphere at 50-90 km heights in the regions with -82 - -89 deg latitudes at 82-91 deg zenith angles of the Sun was investigated. The conducted correlation of parameters of the atmosphere in the southern polar region shows that atmosphere state doesn't suffer noticeable vaiations during long periods of time sufficiently lower tropopause. Atmosphere characteristics in the tropopause change noticeably
