High-concentration contrast media in MDCT angiography: principles and rationale

The purpose of this review is to explain the pharmacokinetic principles as well as the effects of user-selectable injection parameters on arterial enhancement. Thereafter, strategies for the rational design of CM injection techniques for vascular MDCT are derived. (orig.)
