Methods: The image manifestation of 10 cases of pulmonary embolism examined by mulit-slice spiral CT were analyzed retrospectively. Plain scans and contrast enhanced scans were performed by two-slice spiral CT and images were restmcted with MPR Results: The main pulmonary artery and right or left pulmonary artery could be displayed in the all 10 cases. The direct signs included filling defect and obstruction in pulmonary artery, and the indirect signs included pulmonary infarction, pleural effusion, pericardial effusion and pulmonary artery hypertension.
