Electron capture by H(3l) atoms in collisions with Ne and Ar atoms

  • 1. Louvain Univ., Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium). Inst. de Physique

Description

We report on experimental data for electron capture by H(3l) hydrogen atoms, in collisions with neon or argon targets. The energy range is 0.6-3 keV. The fine structure of the colliding atoms is experimentally resolved and its impact on the electron capture process established. (author)
