Description

Hydrogen-charged YBa2Cu307 samples were investigated by muon spin rotation (μSR) and Hall-effect measurements. Both experiments show consistently that the charge carrier concentrations-the superconducting carriers in case of the μSR experiment and the normal state carriers in case of the Hall measurement-are strongly reduced by hydrogen doping. Extrapolating the initial rate of reduction, we deduce that approximately 0.8 H atoms per unit cell are needed to eliminate all carriers
