Studies on the fundamental understanding of selective complexation of f elements (f-Kom). Subproject B. Final report
Description
The joint project 02NUK020 ''studies on the fundamental understanding of selective complexation of f elements (f-Kom)'' was performed as following-up of the project on fundamental studies on development and optimization of processes for separation of long-living radionuclides (partitioning). The project includes the working packages synthesis and screening tests, synthesis and spectroscopic studies, process studies and promotion of young researchers. The nitrogen-donor extraction ligands BTP - developed by KIT-INE - with high selectivity were systematically varied. The complexation behavior was studied using samarium (III) nitrate in iso-propanol.
