Current status and further aims of reactor safety engineering and research
Description
The conference on 'Reactor Safety Engineering and Research' organized for the second time by the GRS on behalf of the BMFT summarized the research activities on the safety of lightwater reactors in the Federal Republic of Germany, international co-operation in this field, and latest results of research work. The main items discussed are the subject fields man/machine relations, operating safety, accident sequences, and risk evaluation. (orig.)

Die von der GRS im Auftrag des BMFT zum zweiten Mal durchgefuehrte Tagung 'Reaktorsicherheitsforschung' gab einen Ueberblick ueber Forschungsaktivitaeten zur Sicherheit von Leichtwasserreaktoren in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, internationale Zusammenarbeit auf dem Gebiet und neuere Ergebnisse dieser Forschungsrichtung. Im Mittelpunkt standen die Sachbereiche Mensch/Maschine-Wechselwirkung, Betriebssicherheit, Stoerfallablaeufe und Risiko. (orig.)Additional details
