Innovative efficient solutions for PV cells and PV modules
Description
In the last 3-4 years, there has been an emphasis on ultra cheap solar power production. Projects like "Solar 30,30,30" have been receiving more funding. There has been a development in the perovskite-silicium cells, as well as a new TOPCon technology. Some researchers also found alternatives and developed cells which use (CdTe) and (FeSi2). However, a big breakthrough was made with triple junction all-perovskite cells, which managed to score 26.24% efficiency. Perovskite-perovskite-silicon triple junction solar cells also have the potential to reach 44.3% efficiency. (author)
