Volume photogalvanic effects in sillenite type crystals

Description

Investigated are volume photogalvanic effects (PGE) -linear and circular - in the crystals of sillenite isomorphous row: Bi12XO20(X=Si, Ge, Ti). Described is the modulation methods of PGE measuring, permitting to separate them from usual photogalvanic effects (of Dember photoemf type). Qualitative analysis of the obtained results is given on the basis of the existing theoretical model
