Description
To study the charge state and energy evolutions of heavy ions travelling through the laser created plasma, a numerical code of the Monte-Carlo type has been written. In this paper, we describe the physical processes included in this code and some results relevant to our experimental facility are presented. Preliminary results on beam and plasma diagnostics are given
