Kinetics of the reaction of neptunium (6) with H2O2 in tributylphosphate
Creators
Description
Reaction of Np(6) with H2O2 in 100% solution of TBP in the range of 25-45 deg C was studied by spectrophotometric method. The reaction rate has the first order as regards neptunium (6), it increases with the growth in the concentration of water and hydrogen peroxide and decreases with an increase in acid concentration and neptunium (5) accumulation. The mechanism of the process is discussed
