Method of processing radioactive waste
Description
In the processing method of removing and recycling uranium by applying water glass to uranium-containing liquid wastes under the coexistence of hydrogen peroxide, a predetermined amount of catalase is applied. It does not act as an interference substance against the removal and the recycling of uranium by using the water glass precipitation method, and uranium can be removed and recycled more effectively. Since it is considered that the effect depends on the catalytic effect, there is a possibility of removing recycling the catalase. When radioactive liquid wastes are processed under the coexistent of hydrogen peroxide by the application of the present invention, it is not necessary to conduct it separately, but it has an advantage that it can be processed in admixture with ordinary radioactive liquid wastes.
