Correlations in rapidly rotating nuclei
Description
Recent advances in heavy-ion accelerators and improved γ-ray detection systems have produced a renaissance in nuclear spectroscopy extending this discipline to large angular momentum. The application of such measurements to the microscopic foundation of nuclear shapes and pair correlations is discussed. (author)
