Analysis of solar energetic particle increases in October-November 2003

Description
The cosmic rays events of October-November 2003 are studied through the data obtained at the Yakutsk neutron monitor complex. The are similar by their characteristics with the known events, which were observed in July 1959, August 1972, October 1981 and September-October 1989. Three earth solar energetic particles increases are registered in October-November 2003 on the background of the alternating Forbush decreases in the galactic cosmic ray intensity

Исследуются события в космических лучах в октябре-ноябре 2003 г. по данным Якутского комплекса нейтронных мониторов. Они по своим характеристикам сходны с известными событиями, которые наблюдались в июле 1959 г., в августе 1972 г., октябре 1981 г., в сентябре-октябре 1989 г. В октябре-ноябре 2003 г. на фоне чередующихся форбуш-понижений в интенсивности галактических космических лучей зарегистрированы три наземных возрастания солнечных энергичных частицAdditional details
