α-Decay of natural tungsten isotopes

Description
The searches for the W natural isotopes α-decay are conducted in the Solotvinsk IYaI underground laboratory of the Ukrainian NAS through the 116CdWO4 low-background scintillation detector with the mass of 330 g. The 180W tungsten isotope α-decay with half-life period of T1/2[1.2 -0.4+0.8 (stat.) ± 0.3( syst.)] x 1018 years is registered in the course of 3208 h measurements of the 116CdWO4 scintillation crystal background. The limits for the 182W, 183W, 184W and 186W isotopes are established at the level of 1020 years

В Солотвинской подземной лаборатории ИЯИ НАН Украины проводятся поиски α-распада естественных изотопов W с помощью низкофонового сцинтилляционного детектора 116CdWO4 массой 330 г. В результате 3208 ч измерений фона сцинтилляционных кристаллов 116CdWO4 зарегистрирован α-распад изотопа вольфрама 180W с периодом полураспада T1/2=[1.2 -0.4+0.8 (стат.) ± 0.3 (сист.)] x 1018 лет. Для изотопов 182W, 183W, 184W и 186W установлены ограничения на период полураспада на уровне 1020 летAdditional details
