Charged multiplicity and multiplicity ratio between gluon and quark jets
Description
The multiplicity of charged particles in multihadronic events at 58GeV has been measured with the matrix unfolding method. And the multiplicity ratio between a gluon-jet and a quark-jet has been calculated with a method proposed by Teshima which has a less experimental bias. As a result, under the assumption of LPHD the multiplicity ratio has been obtained preliminarily to be γ = 1.59 ± 0.08(stat.) ± 0.04(sys.), which is more closer to the theoretical expectation than the value reported by other experimental groups so far.
