Description
In this paper the single coaxial cavity of a radio frequency high power industrial electron accelerator is simulated and numerically analyzed by finite element method. The main goal of this study is investigate and find an optimize geometry of coaxial acceleration cavity. We are comparing three configuration of coaxial cavity and able to find the modified coaxial cavity for high power RF electron accelerator using simulation. We should emphasize that RF parameters of the cavity such as shunt impedance, surface current, power loss, quality factor are computed precisely by both analytical calculations and simulations. The numerical results agree well with those simulated values and those given by a CST microwave studio. (author)
