Description
The independent yield of 88Y from thermal neutron-induced fission of 235U was determined relatively to the well-known yield of 91Y. The activity of 88Y was measured using a liquid counting source on a Canberra 130 cm3 Ge(Li) detector, and an FH-1914 β plastic scintillation detector was used to count 91Y activity. An upper limit obtained was <= 1.53x10-8%. (author)
