Relativistic interactions between nuclei, coherence effects and nonscaling

Description

The original parton model, in which a hadron is considered to be composed of a number of pointlike constituents called partons, is applied to the nuclear case, incorporating special relativity and nonconservation of particle number. The results of a scattering analysis of heavy ions and nonscaling terms in the theory are then discussed
