Description

An equivalent PWR reflector model for two group nodal reactor calculations is presented which conserves the nodal heterogeneous reflector response at the core/reflector interface also for re-entrant corners. This model can be applied both, radially and axially. It generalizes the equivalent reflector model applied by the Siemens standard design procedure SAV90 where the nodal reflector response is conserved only for 1-D problems. This generalized reflector model is available in the standard design procedure of the integrated code system CASCADE-3D. (author)
