Alpha transfer reaction 16O(14N, 10B)20Ne and high-spin states in 20Ne
- 1. Cyclotron Institute and Physics Department, Texas AandM University, College Station, Texas 77843
Description
The reaction 16O(14N, 10B)20Ne was studied at 155 MeV. The reaction mechanism shows characteristics of a direct α transfer process with high-spin enhancement. Observed transitions are discussed in terms of high rotational bands, and high-spin members of the SU(3) (9,0) and (12,0) bands are assigned
