Waste management for Gamma Knife perfexion in Indonesia

Description
Gamma Knife was radiation therapy modality using multiple cobalt-60 sources. Number of sources which is used is 192. Waste management of Gamma Knife Modality in Indonesia become important because of multiple source that used than conventional tele cobalt modality. Waste management contain with waste collecting, characterization, transportation and storage. Classification of cobalt-60 with 16 Ci activity is low level waste. Best choice for waste management is re-export the source because extra fee for waste management in Indonesia. (author)
