The Ising model on a fluctuating disk
Description
The partition function, average area, and magnetization for the Ising model on a random surface with the topology of a disk are computed. Both high-temperature and low-temperature phases are considered. Although there is no unique way to take the thermodynamic limit, all large-area limits exhibit a spontaneous magnetization in the bulk. (orig.)
