Liquidus surface of LiΛ2BrΛ2-NaΛ2BrΛ2-CdBrΛ2 system

Description
The system Li2Br2-Na2Br2-CdBr2 has been studied using visual-polythermal method. The character of the system is determined by the presence on the sides of LiBr-NaBr and Li2Br2-CdBr2 of continuous solid solutions and eutectics at 367 deg on the side of Na2Br2-CdBr2. The curve of joint crystallization of two series of limited solid solutions begins in the eutectics of double system Na2Br2-CdBr2 and breaks inside the system with the addition of 20-22% Li2Br2
