Preparation of the radioactive liquid waste efluent from chemical treatmen of carbonate process for the feeding of evaporation process

The aim of preparation is to reduced of sedimentation on the evaporation process of radioactive waste. The preparation was carried out by adjustment of pH, filtering and settling of liquid radioactive waste efluent from chemical treatment using calcium carbonate coagulant. The tested preparation product was done by heating liquid radioactive waste on batch process on pH 5.0 to pH = 9.0 in the petridisk up to dry and determination of solid contain by gravimetry method. From the experiment can be obtain of data that on pH 5.0 to pH = 7.0, filtering and minimum settling on 180 minutes to given of solid contain in the liquid waste are condition for evaporation process with solid contain value are 0.317 g/L to 0.958 g/L.
