Anomalous magnetic moments of quarks in magnetic dipole transitions of hadrons
Description
The anomalous magnetic moments of the constituents quarks are estimated using the data on the radiative decay widths of vector and pseudoscalar mesons and on the magnetic moments of baryons. The relativistic effects have been taken into account. It is shown that the data under consideration unambigously show that u and d quarks have a negative anomalous magnetic moment which is not proportional to the charges of the quarks and equals 3-6% of the normal magnetic moment of the u quark. The anomalous magnetic moment of u and d quarks which is proportional to the charge and the anomalous magnetic moment of s quark turn to be rather ambigous
