Description
The magnetomechanical coupling coefficient (k) of amorphous Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si15.5B7 alloy strips was investigated after annealing them in vacuum for 1 h at temperatures ranging from 300 to 560 C. The maximum values of k coefficient (km=0.62) were observed for annealing at 540 C and km=0.46 for 560 C when the nanocrystallization process was advanced. For as-quenched samples km was equal to 0.15-0.20. ((orig.))
