Description
In this paper, three approximate reconstruction algorithms for helical CT (FDK, SSFDK, PI- ORIGINAL) are compared in performance with gradually increasing relative helical pitch. The results of simulation indicate that PI-ORIGINAL has an obvious advantage over the other two algorithms mentioned, when pitch is relatively large. The 3-D Shepp phantom and Turbell's Clock phantom are used in our study. (authors)
