Description
Method of evaluating ultimate pressure capacity of Prestressed Concrete Containment Vessel (PCCV) in severe accident condition is currently being standardized to be published as a guideline by Main committee on Power Generation Facility Codes of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers. This paper reports the results of trial evaluations of the concrete and liner parts of the typical PCCV in accordance with the proposed guideline. (author)
