Mechanical properties and dislocation structure in radiation hardened LiF layered crystals at single slip

Description
Flow stresses and development of dislocation structure are experimentally studied under deformation following one system of crystallographic planes of radiation hardened LiF layered crystals. It turned out that at constant ratio of transverse sizes of the irradiated and non-irradiated ranges the yield limit of a specimen depends linearly on t irradiation time, while at t const increases linearly with increase of the irradiated range area
