Doppler broadening of the annihilation gamma line in KCl and LiF

Description
Experimental results on the Doppler broadening of the annihilation gamma line in pure and doped KCl and LiF are presented. The influence of heat treatment on the annihilation gamma line (AGL) is also discussed. Values of the shape parameter in KCl, KCl:Ca2+, :Sr2+, :Ba2+, or :Eu2+, LiF, LiF:OH-, and LiF:OH-:Mg2+ measured after quenching from 870 K down to room temperature (RT) and after aging at RT for about 3x103h are given and discussed
