A many-body confinement potential model for multi-hadron systems
Description
A calculable many-body confinement potential model is introduced which attempts to incorporate recent suggestions arising from the need for local SU(3) color gauge invariance in multi-hadron potential model calculations. As an example calculations of the nucleon-nucleon potential are briefly discussed and the non-occurrence of Van der Waals forces demonstrated. Extensions to the three and four nucleon problem are given in lowest order
