Thousands of radioactive lightning rods, or 'parads', are present on our roofs. A secondary school in Essonne called on an approved company to remove its lightning conductor in complete safety for the population and workers. Feature story illustrating: the removal of the lightning conductor, the single-use personal protective equipment (PPE), the dose rate measurement, the storage of radioactive elements in drums prior to transport, the transport of the drums in accordance with safety regulations, the dosimetric monitoring of the professional, the removal and packaging of the personal protective equipment
