An electromagnetic model for charge confinement

Description
It is shown that in a 3-component nonlinear field theory in 3 space dimensions with a degenerate ground state (e.g. Landau's theory of ferromagnetism) there exist vortex solutions, nonanalytical in the coupling constant and providing models for charge confinement. (Auth.)
